All of the text in my book and quill got deleted

I'm on my TU12 survival world and I'm sitting at my mob grinder waiting to get xp, so I decided to update my book and quill, which I had been writing a sort of journal entry in each day I played the game, with whatever I was working on that day. Once I was finished writing, I clicked done, the game autosaved, I killed the mobs in my grinder, then checked the book to read what I had wrote, and EVERYTHING is gone. Months of writing in that book gone.
