switching between game mode causes game to go crazy

it started when i switched to adventurer mode that it did not take me out of creative so i tried and game me blocks but they would disappear as well when i broke blocks they were ghost blocks. then i went into lava and it killed me and reset the thing. after that i went back to creative and i still had hearts no more blocks,broke blocks twice a fast and could not die even science i had hearts.
