Texture packs not working

A few of the texture packs I own do not work anymore. I paid for them, and after the emeralds were added, they stopped working. I own the city, plastic, natural, halloween, festive, and the fantasy pack as well. Only the city works.. but the rest I do own don't work, I paid for them and they only seem to work if I am on someone else's world and they are using that texture pack. I would like to use other texture packs, not just the original and the city. I enjoyed using them.
