    • Affects Version/s: Past Release - June Release (TU54/CU44/1.52/PS4 1.53/WiiU Patch 24/Switch Patch 4
    • Fix Version/s: None
    • Affected Platforms:
      Nintendo Switch

      Description

I had placed a Map into an Item Frame, hoping that it would show the location of the map.
But it showed no icon, and a few moments later it showed an odd brown square.
(Shown by red circle in pictures)
This icon also became apart of the handheld map.
The icon is at the exact point of the item framed map.

In the past there was a Green Pointer showing the location of the Framed Map, and it did not transfer to handheld maps. I do not know if this was an intentional change, but it wasn't mentioned in the update logs. I would not know if this affects TU55 as the update hasn't been released for the Switch yet.

      To reproduce:
Step 1. Partially or fully explore a Map.
Step 2. Place the Map into an Item Frame.
Step 3. View the Map in the Item Frame and in the Player's Inventory.
Result: An odd icon across both Maps.

Is this an issue, or an intended change?
Can anybody confirm this for other consoles, or for TU55?
