Game crashes during play

Greetings.

On July 2nd 2015 while playing in the Little Big Planet Mash-up Pack, the screen went black and the following message appeared:

Minecraft: PS3 Edition has failed to load, and cannot continue.

I was unable to do anything and had to shut down and restart my console.

Later, I went into creative mode, flew around the Little Big Planet Mash-up pack world save, flew around to fill in the map, then tried to save, and the game crashed. The same issue occurred every time I tried to save after I flew around and filled in the map.

later encountered this same issue while playing in the Mass Effect Mash-up pack world save, and the same issue occured this evening while playing in the Tutorial world from TU14.
