Game Crashes planting 4 spruce trees next to each other and trying to use bone meal on them.

Started new creative mode world to explore and look at new updates in the game since 1.39 hit. While messing about growing trees for fun I put 4 spruce tree saplings in the standard square formation. Just to see if they would grow a super tree like Jungle ones. When I was applying bone meal to them the game screen suddenly went black. Then kicked me back to playstation menu screen. The entire Minecraft game crashing and quitting.
