      Description

What I did: made a superflat bedrock world. Laid out a one chunk floor of iron blocks covered by carpet and set time of day to night.

What I expected: no hostile mobs spawns due to collision with the carpet hitbox.

What happened: Mobs spawned as freely as if the carpet were entirely absent.

Conclusion: In pc version 1.8 and later carpet has a 1/16 of a block hitbox making the block below it and itself unspawnable. There seems to be an oversight in the mcce carpet code that lacks this property.
