Developers should be able to define colors of text, player names , certain textures and light, through hexadecimal such as #FF0000 instead of "red".
Color of chat text and player names will be definable by mods and will have access to a full spectrum of hexadecimals colors.
Text, player names, light, and particle effects will be customizable through hexadecimal color tags within the code.
Justification and Use Case:
Mods will not be limited to set colors within minecraft, and will instead be able to use a full spectrum of colors with text and other textures such as particles mods using custom potions or player classes would be able to set a color for their potion particles or the text above a players head. Mods would also be easily allowed to create colored sources of light.
