Screen re-drawing a garbeled mess every fraction of a second

      Upon loading a game using my version 1.9 profile the screen flashes through many different terrains and does not stop. It's quite difficult to explain, but it's like it's drawing each one partially and repeating the pattern across the screen. I'm attaching some screenshots, but keep in mind that these are all screenshots from a single position in the game, I have not moved the character around at all. And all these images (and more) flash quite quickly across my monitor.

      I first noticed the issue when entering a specific map (seed = cayenta) in creative mode. Then, the issue spread out to other 1.9 maps (my 1.8 ones are unaffected). Now, it's more or less "random" what map the issue will come up on, but once it does it does not go away. The only way to get rid of it is to delete that map.

      If I pause the game by pressing "Esc" then the flashing slows down and eventually stops, but it takes about 2 minutes to come to a complete stop.

      I do not have this issue on my 1.8 profile.

      My 1.9 profile is not linked to any mods or custom skins.

      This bug makes 1.9 unplayable.
