I downloaded minecraft almost a week ago, and I have not been able to play version 1.9. I have the right graphics driver and java 8, and I have mini dumps enabled.
I expected minecraft to run after the minidumps were enabled but it still won't run on 1.9.
When I load a world there is no ground, the sky is its regular blue, and there are a few clouds, then about 5 seconds later it boots my and I get the error message.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling minecraft and that hasn't helped either. It runs perfectly fine on 1.8.9 but I was really looking forward to playing this new update.

      Edit

After reading up on some other peoples comments, I found out if you take the java launcher out of the minecraft folder on your computer, and launch minecraft that way it works. The official launcher on the desktop is the one with a bug in it.
