I was making a world in 1.9 but the other computer connected to the same network does not show in the lan worlds , then i switched to 1.8.8 and it did show so is not the computer is the game. I talked thru chat for mojang support and they only way to connect is via looking up the ip of the computer and puting it with the port that shows up when you start the lan world. so i guess something changed in the lan Api
