When I was updating my resource pack to the newest version of Minecraft, I happened to notice a bug with the redstone wire models. When the wire goes up a normal block (anything but the redstone block) it connects to the redstone on top of the block. This doesn't appear to happen for the redstone block. This may be intentional, but I'm not sure.
