minecraft 1.9 is unplayable on windows 10
Yesterday when 1.9 came out, I was really exited because I have been waiting for this update for a long time. But I came with a BIG ISSUE.
Once minecraft 1.9 started, it had REALLY low FPS. I first thought my GPU was too weak for minecraft, but if it was, my CPU would go at its best. but when I looked at performance on task manager, my CPU, memory, and my HDD was running like they normally are when I play minecraft. I did some investigating and I found that this bug (or technical difficulty) started in 15w41b snapshot.I believe the main cause of this is that minecraft is loading too many chunks at once, because when I press ESC to go to the options menu, I get over 60 FPS. I have exported 2 pictures of my problem and below is my PC specs.
PC model: HP Pavilion x360
processor: Intel quadcore I5 5200U @2.2 Gigahertz (actually 2.5 at maximum)
Memory: 8GB DDR3, 1 of 2 slots used
Hard drive: HDD 1TB technical: WDC WD10SPCX-60KHSTO
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 5500
thank you for your help,
much appreciated!
