attempted to use fishing rod as grappling hook using command blocks. found that the fishing rod 'bobber' or the entity that i actually teleport to, isn't stopping in terms of movement. it's not getting stuck in any blocks. in fact it's literally glitching around, moving up and down EXTREMELY, like over a block in terms of height, primarily sinking into the ground before reseting back to normal.
confused, i attempted to see what was causing the problem by rebooting, disabling the contraptions, and even making other worlds to test it with.
the glitch repeats in every world the moment the stupid bobber even TRIES to dig into wood, which is detrimental to what i'm trying to make, and seems kind of like a hazard if some accidentally right clicks inside their house and ends up wrecking their fishing rod because in this glitched state it also doesn't register being in WATER. so in other words fishing rods, when this glitch occurs, become useless because the bobber never technically lands in ANYTHING, not solid blocks, not water, and therefore doesn't register in either fishing, or commands.
in short i'm tearing my hair out in frustration because i can't find any blasted way to fix this stupid glitch that apparently no one cares about in favor of some meaningless missing pixels. a glitch that causes complete loss of functionality in an item SHOULD BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN MISSING PIXELS.
