This is a 6-minute video on testing 1.9 Pre-Release 1. It is a recording so bear in mind that I lose about 20-30 frames while recording and that it is proportional to what I show in the video)

This latest snapshot that I could play with good frames everywhere like in the previous versions in Minecraft was 15w40b but the snapshots after after killed my frames.

I recently reviewed the snapshots past 15w40b(the improvement of boats and the increased information in the F3 menu. I tried to allow my computer to try to catch up to the version I was playing because I thought it might've taken time to get the game back up and running. However, I was wrong. Every week I tried every snapshot and retested the same thing over and over, even restarting my game multiple times. I notice that my frames take a major drop when I open the new F3 screen like the information it was trying to gather and display was very lag-inducing and slow. When I get out of the menu, it still lags and it doesn't go away until a while later. The nether becomes perpetually laggy, moving the camera angles have some split-time lag, and looking at the ground does little to the situation. I don't believe the changes to the boats would've caused this much lag. Mob tracking may be causing lag but my mobs weren't slowed down or anything so I have no information on that. I run the game at 4 gigs of Ram and in Windowed Mode, Fullscreen basically makes the game look more smooth but it actually lowers my frames to about 30. I don't believe the changes to the end would've made a difference either. I know my computer isn't that strong but since the game was running just fine before the changes after 15w40b, I want to know if this is just major lag from a new game mechanic. To me, I think that this problem is caused from the new mob AI and some problems to the bug fixes that the developers made in general. Windows 10 was used in every snapshot.
