Summary: I am having trouble with resource packs on Minecraft 1.8.9. When I activate one, I get around 0.5 FPS. Normally I get around 60 FPS (I have everything on high quality). It is not that I have a slow computer. Even our old home computer which is 2 or 3 times as bad as my laptop gets around 25 FPS with a resource pack. Even if the resource pack is on and I'm only in the game menu (where you select singleplayer or multiplayer) it is still at around 0.5 FPS. I have tried turning everything on the lowest quality and getting Optifine, but that did nothing. I think it has to do with my computer or my Minecraft or my Java and how it reacts with the resource pack. I have tried using the Minecraft installer to repair Minecraft, I have used the installer to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft, and I have tried reinstalling Java. Nothing seems to help. I have a 64-bit Windows 10 Home computer with an Intel Core Processor. It is around one year old, but recently I had to take it to Best Buy to be fixed, and they replaced the case and the drive and uploaded my info onto it, so I basically got back a new Windows 8 computer with most of my stuff transferred on (I upgraded to Windows 10 before I did anything). I have one of these: http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=N7H85EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB . It worked perfectly fine before it got a new driver, but I dont think a new driver would mess anything up.
What I expected to happen was...:
The resource pack to load, change the texture of Minecraft, and not cause a crazy amount of unnatural lag.
What actually happened was...:
The resource pack loaded, changed the texture of Minecraft, but also cause a crazy amount of lag.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to options.
2. Go to Resource Packs.
3. Select the resource pack you want.
4. Get lagged.
Below I attached a .txt file of when errors started coming up in the game log, but it might not be the right stuff.
