When I sat in a boat, the part of the player that was supposed to be 'inside' the boat was invisible (see screenshot) when viewed from 3rd person view. I am unsure if the same result will occur when the player is viewed from another player's perspective in multiplayer. Reproduction of results is pretty self explanatory. Place boat, sit in it, toggle view to 3rd person.
