While in Survival, I got killed by Skeletons (Hate the new combat lol).

Anyways, I respawned and when I got to the items, I picked them up and immediately paused and left the game. When I logged back in, the items were on the ground and in my inventory.

The screenshot shows my items. Note that the tools are duplicated and have exactly the same damage as their original.
