Minecraft crashing when making/joining worlds, and joining any servers

      I opened minecraft on pc as normal, then i tried to open a singleplayer world and it crashed. Tried to join a server and it gave me a error saying "java.lang.IllegalStateException: failed to create a child event loop"
      How do i fix it?
