Chicken will not follow the player with seeds up stairs

      Description

      I expected the Chicken to follow me up the stairs into my coup. In previous version 1.8.8, I was able to do so.

      What actually happened was...:
      As soon as I got up to the second step the chickens would immediately lose interest and go about their business.
      Steps to Reproduce:
      1. Attract chickens with seeds

      2. Walk up stairs
      3. The chickens will not follow you
