When a piston(sticky or normal)is activated/deactivated the piston glitches and if there is a block that the piston is pushing/pulling the block will glitch as well. Also if you have sand or gravel fall it will glitch.

To reproduce just place a piston and activate it and deactivate a few times and you will see how the texture does not update right away or goes invisible.
And for the sand and gravel glitch just have some sand and gravel blocks fall and you will see one of these things. A: the gravel/sand looking weird as it falls. or B: the gravel/sand hits the ground goes invisible then becomes visible again.
