Here is part of en_US.lang file included into minecraft 1.8.8:

commands.give.block.notFound=There is no such block with name %d
commands.give.item.notFound=There is no such item with name %d

And here is part of ru_RU.lang file:

commands.give.notFound=Предмет с идентификатором %s не существует

You can see that messages "commands.give.block.notFound" and "commands.give.item.notFound" are missed in translation file. So players will see english version of this message instead of russian.
