      The bug

      Arriving to the Nether through a Nether portal in the End creates a glitchy state where mobs don't move and you can't visually drop items, place entities or shoot arrows. Via the /testfor command you can see that the dropped items are actually invisibly present.

      To reproduce

      1. Go to the End 
        /setblock ~ ~ ~ end_portal
      2. Go to the Nether from there 
        /setblock ~ ~ ~ portal
      3. See the problem. Find a Zombie Pigman and see that it doesn't do anything.
