When riding a minecart outside a preloaded chunk it comes to what looks like the end of a map and just sky ahead, you cannot exit minecart and chunks do not load, exiting game and reentering will load next chunks but your position ends up glitchy where your outside minecart then pop randomly back into the cart and are on your way.
