When you sail on boat with a friend on the backseat, if you go far enough, the chunks won't load for your friend and everything will become invisible for him.
He'll have to dismount for the chunks to load.

We tested this on a 14w42a server and map, and we checked this bug with 2 different persons in the backseat.
