Since a few snapshots I'm getting quite a few "ghost blocks". I don't think it's the same issue as MC-62166 because in my case, when I mine something very fast, for example dirt with efficiency 4 or stone with efficiency 5 and a beacon with haste II, blocks do disappear but they are still there. They are just invisible until the chunk is reloaded (quit/save and reload makes the already broken block reappear; also placing a block at the same spot). Also I can't walk through them, it creates a weird stuck animation.
As far as I understand it, even in single player I'm playing on a local server? Could there be a discrepancy between the client and the server? I think it started happening after a developer (I can't recall who specifically ) tweeted he fixed a few cases of block lag (could be coincidence though).
MC-63551, which sounds like the thing I'm experiencing, was closed as a duplicate of MC-62166 which itself is closed as can't reproduce. I have been able to reproduce it A LOT on my snapshot world. If this is infact a duplicate, please reopen MC-62166 as it is clearly not fixed.
It might be related to MC-55106 but like I said, it happens with dirt and stone as well!
If needed I can try to catch it on video.
