Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Java 1.8.0_25 64bit, happens in multiplayer (personal server) - not sure about single

When going through a portal to the Nether, it no longer takes you to coordinates that are 1/8 of the Overworld. Now it is taking you to the SAME exact coordinates. It also doesn't create a portal at your destination.
The same thing happens from the Nether to the Overworld. See attached.
