To recreate. in Single player
get killed by baby zombie. It Appeared to be a villager baby zombie not sure if that makes a difference
Respawn. Baby zombie is still around but can not be seen until you stop the game go back to the world menu and restart the world. You can then see the Baby zombie again but if it kills you he will again turn invisible after respawn.
