One addition to 15w37a is that a bow can be used in the extra hand slot. However when I try to use the bow in f5 view you cannot se the animation of the bow being lifted up. When you use a bow in the normal hand, Steve's hand rises up to where he is aiming but this does not happen. Attached is a screenshot of what I have described.
