My ISP started to use IPV6 instead of IPV4 and now I can't connect to my locally hosted server. Server works fine but client can't connect to it because "java.net.socketexception: protocol family unavailable". Does Minecraft support IPV6? I have tried Minecraft 1.6.4 (with bukkit and other mods), Minecraft 1.8.8 and newest snapshot. I can still connect to other servers using IPV4 but this just means that I can't host servers anymore because I or anybody else can't connect to it. Server has no errors regarding IPV6, only client.
