Method to reproduce in creative:-

1. Pick Block leaves from a Dark Oak tree and you get Acacia Leaves.

2. Place the leaf block.

3. Clear your inventory.

4. Pick the leaf block you placed and you end up with an Acacia block you can nothing with (it has a red zero).

This red zero block cannot be placed or put into your off hand.
