Decorated a white shield with a banner (with a base color of white as well) in the crafting grid (on a server/client running 15w33c)

Two things happened:

1) The background color changed to black on the resulting shield
2) The resulting shield no longer had any damage (was fully repaired)

Expectation:

1) the background color remains unchanged (in this case white)
2) since I'm only crafting the banner pattern onto the shield (and get to keep the banner) no change in the durability is expected.

This may be related to MC-86193 (repairing on an anvil changes the color to black) however as this is in the crafting grid don't want to assume fixing one will fix the other.
