What I expected to happen was...:
miencraft 1.8.8 would start when i selected a world to play.
What actually happened was...:
froze up and received a crash report
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on minecraft executable
2. play menu comes up
3. hit play
4. world selection menu comes up/select world
5. play selected world - cycles and then crashes
