when i create a new world in either of the snapshots, my game is black. it is kinda like https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-83879 , but i dont see anything. i tried moving my mouse, but it was locked to minecraft like it usually was. i faced what i thought was directly down, and started digging. and i heard dirt breaking, but i didn't see it. after that, i press escape (esc) and my mouse pops up like it should, but i didn't see anything. so i clicked around the spot where it brings you back to the title screen, and it did and i could see everything again.

when i create a new world, all i see is black, but everything else works, like sound. and breaking blocks.

for me, its just to create a new world. i tried it in superflat and default, if that makes a difference.

~~_{other things to note}~~

think of my problem as i am blind in minecraft. not the status effect, because you can see things that are near you when that is applied to you, i can't see anything, but i can control my character

when i go into a premade world (made in latest of 1.8), still black.

when i press (f3+a), i see things for a split second. using what i see, i have successfully confirmed that i am controlling my character like normal. maybe it is a visual glitch, i can't tell.
