I searched for a stronghold in a testworld for the new snapshot, as I stumbled across this issue.

I flew in the direction the enderpearl guided me as I saw a suspicus glowing under the water. On the Pictures it is clearly visible that the room with the endportal spawned in the middle of the ocean without the rest of the fortress attached. After looking beneath the ground of the ocean, I found the other parts of the fortress.
