Please note this bug happens without any mods installed whatsoever.
What I expected to happen was...:
I changed the game directory through the launcher in order to have my saves in a different place( for a different set of mods, obviously ).
What actually happened was...:
The new folder was created just fine, but each and every time I try to run minecraft it hangs forever at the mojang loading screen.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change the game directory to something other than ".minecraft"
2. Run with that profile
3. Observe...
