I just recently tried to play minecraft again after some time away. I re-downloaded the launcher as I have previously cleaned it out of my computer. Everything runs fine. Until I attempt to open a world. I can get to the world choose menu and select one. But during the generation (loading), Minecraft crashes with the attached crash log. I've re-downloaded the client and MC version several times. It only does it on 1.7.x and 1.8.x. Every version before that works fine and the worlds load fine. I've tried disabling my firewall and completely uninstalled my Virus Software (McAffee). Nothings worked so far. I've seen some other bug reports with the same issue. But removing or turning off the virus software seems to fix it. I don't have any mods installed and have not attempted to install any since I've re-downloaded the game.
I'm currently playing 1.6 offline but would greatly appreciate the help if I could figure out how to play the newer versions! (I love the new custom world generation)
Thank you!
