Upon launching the game from the launcher, it crashes and Windows 8 does its thing where it tries to recover. Minecraft never goes beyond a black screen. I have searched and searched for a solution and not found one. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Minecraft and the installation of Java. I have also tried restarting.
