When you throw things like potions, items, snowballs etc. they desync after about 1 second. You can see that because they move slightly in a direction.

This affects:

• Items (after they touched the ground)
• Arrows
• Snowballs
• Potions
• XPorbs from a bottle of enchanting after it broke
