I downloaded a texture/resource pack that was made for only 1.8.1. It had 3D models of a lot of blocks when they were in your inventory or dropped on the ground but when placed almost all of the block looked normal. Only furnace, crafting table, jukebox and some more blocks which isn't building blocks were different when placed. I launched the resource pack and switched to it ingame. It worked absolutally perfect in singleplayer but when I closed minecraft and switched to 1.8 and was in the minecraft menu I changed resource pack to another one (Sphax resource pack) and while loading minecraft crashed and sais that minecraft has run out of RAM memory. Now when I start my minecraft it just crashes or just loads forever. I also removed the resource pack from the resourcepacks folder in .minecraft, maybe I shouldn't have done that I don't know. I don't know hot to fix the RAM thing so please help me.

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought that when I changed the resource pack from the 1.8.1 resource pack to a resource pack that could be used in 1.8 when I was in minecraft version 1.8 the resource packs would just change and I could keep on playing.

      What actually happened was...:
What actually happened was that minecraft crashed and I couldn't open it without crashing again or just loading forever.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID FOR THE BUG TO HAPPEN:
      1. Download this resource pack: http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/2qymnr/handcrafted_3d_resource_pack_updates/
      2. Find your .minecraft folder and put the resource pack in your resource packs folder in .minecraft.
      3. Open your minecraft launcher and select minecraft version 1.8.1 and start your minecraft.
      4. Create a new world in singleplayer with cheats on.
      5. Pause minecraft (ESC button on your keyboard as default) press the option button and then press the resource packs button.
      6. Change your resource pack to the 3D blocks 1.8.1 resource pack.
      7. Test it a bit (break some blocks, place some blocks, look at the blocks in creative inventory).
      8. Save and Quit the singleplayer world.
      9. Close your minecraft and open your minecraft launcher.
      10. Change your minecraft version from 1.8.1 to 1.8.
      11. Start your minecraft.
      12. Go to options on the minecraft start menu and press resource packs.
13.Take away the 3D 1.8.1 resource pack from the right side to the left side.
      14. Don't press done!!! Change to another resource pack directly after removing the 3D one (I changed to Sphax resource pack).
      15. For me my minecraft had crashed by now.
