This bug scared the heck out of me.
I have this spruce-door in my cobblestone house (only door in house, and I'm in a snow-taiga biome, if that matters), all of a sudden this door started to make those knocking noises like when a zombie is trying to get in, only it was daytime and there was no zombie. I played around with it and I might have a cause.
I opened the door with my enchanted fishing-rod (lure II) and I closed the door with the rod in my hand and I went inside a chest to put it there when the door then started to make the noise (until I opened it again).
So far it seems slightly random, although I tried to open/close it with my hand or any other item in hand, it didn't start the bug.
But if I first opened the door (with the rod) by clicking the upper part, then closed the door by clicking on the bottom-part (with the rod), it sometimes did start the bug. After more testing I can confirm this occurs on multiple of my spruce-doors (all single-doors, in different buildings)
Okay now it just happens whenever I open-close the door (mostly if its rapidly opened/closed) with a bare hand too.
