After a really long session of play and a short break i loaded my game again and a "u" shaped part of world was missing! My dude was standing in a desert village on a piece of ground measuring 16x40 blocks in width connected to solid world on one side and around that piece there was a ~16 blocks wide "u" shaped gap . Only a few pieces of grass and wheat (highest parts) floating on the gap. On the sides of the gap i can see what is underground: tunnels, lava, minerals, water... nothing floods to the gap. Bottom of the gap is bright blue. It is like someone took a piece of my world with a giant coocie cutter. The problematic area is 48x56 blocks wide and about 60 blocks deep. Otherwise things seem to work as usual. My house is missing half of it and villagers go inside just like nothing happened...

I was playing regular survival mode, no mods. Before this bug i had saddled a pig, but it's not in the area. I gave food to my villagers and was hoping they breed. I had travelled a vast area with a horse. I hope some of this info helps. I dont dare to do anything if so i'll just let this world be until somebody figures out the problem. Sorry i`m unable to post a print screen just now.

      What I expected to happen:
Expected to reload the game as it was an continue gaming.

      What happened:
I found my dude standing in the middle of a huge gap in the world.
