A chunk of land seemed to disappear, but it actually morphed into a different chunk. My house is on top of mountains and over a giant cliff. 20, 10, 25 and all other chunks below it were a part of a cliff bridge connecting two mountains, followed by a huge gap of air down to the ground. When I checked on my animals, it appeared to be gone. Usually the game does a bug where it fails to load the chunk, so I reloaded the game and it persisted. I jumped in the void to fall to my death in a pit just a few blocks below average ground level. It is now empty from 20, 10, 25, down to 20, 5, 25, then new land appears at 20, 4, 25. The land in that chunk had changed completely like it belongs to another seed, resembling nothing of a creeper explosion. There must be a way I can reload the game and just reassemble the chunk to its original seed design, even if it's not with my house on it.
