In both mineshafts and dungeons, the chests spawned are empty. I am sure that I have never mined in these mineshafts and dungeons, and the chests are empty. My personal chests are also empty, but I know that's because I went from a newer version to older version. I have tried closing and reopening Minecraft, but still nothing. Screenshots attached.
