If you hit a block in Survival Mode, then proceed into Adventure Mode and hit a block again, it plays the breaking sound, puts out the block particles and the breaking overlay appears on the block. However, trying to break the block completely resets the block's overlay. This isn't really a game-breaking bug, but it is a bit weird and slightly annoying. Note: It may have to be the same block you hit in Survival Mode.
