I opened up a new world in 1.8, just basic survival no special settings, and when i saw that my render was only on 8 chunks, i put it up to 16. That is when the world started a constant re-render of the world even though when i moved, my character was reacting to the environment that was loaded before everything broke. Now whenever i open a world in 1.8 it does the same thing even when i don't mess with my render. The screen shots below were taken within 5 seconds on each other. (Edit: when I turn my render down to 12 chunks the chunk I am immediately standing in stops re-rendering and it stops completely when I go down to 9 chunks or lower.)
