The title is slightly misleading but what I basically pointing at, is when tools are used for killing it takes damage just as if you're using it but it takes more damage then usual, like I believe a pickaxe takes 3 points off versus one damage point off when mining, but slightly off topic essentially hoes don't take any damage unless used to till dirt.
