Every other game version starting at 1.7.10 and below works fine and everything above did work fine until yesterday. I logged onto Minecraft 1.8 and hopped into my single player world. It was smooth and normal like before but then it slowly started to lag and kept getting worse until it was freezing every second or two. It even affected the Main Menu and world selection menu where it lagged there too. I tried exiting out of every program and restarting it, deleting the version and re-downloading it, but it was still as worse as it was.
