Upon changing any meta (name, lore, amount, etc) in regards to an ItemStack held by the player; the client will replay the animation of withdrawing the item. In previous versions, it only did this for switching completely different ItemStacks. However it now does the animation on any ItemStack update; which causes items with updating names such as "skill activation blinkers" that change colors or cooldown being displayed via the ItemStack size to constantly replay the animation and cause the item to glitch out visually.

For example, holding an ItemStack with the name "Example - Right Click!" with the "Right Click!" changing colors would simply redisplay the "held item tooltip" above the hotbar; it now causes the client to replay the holding animation.
