In our local multiplayer world, only I, the host, can train wolves. When my guests go to train a wild wolf holding a bone, they can see the "tame" button, hearts appear around the wolf and he gets a red collar. He immediately sits down, and never moves again. The guest who trained him does not get a "stand" button for him - nor do I. However, the guest who trained him does get a "feed" button though! The guest sees no effect from this, except the meat disappearing. I can see hearts appearing around the wolf while it is being fed. If this bug is fixed, perhaps different players could have wolves with different coloured colours to avoid confusion? I hope it does get fixed soon, as my kids won't play with me if I all the wolves belong to me!
WHAT I EXPECTED TO HAPPEN: Each player could train their own wolves, and each wolf would only accept commands from the player who trained it.
WHAT ACTUALLY DID HAPPEN: Any wolf trained by the host behaved as expected. Any wolf trained by a guest player sat down and no player could give commands to it, except that the player who trained it could still feed it.
HOW TO RECREATE ISSUE:
1. create survival world and find wolf biome
2. collect a stock of bones
3. turn on local multiplayer and invite other players on same wifi network
4. lead them from spawn point to wolf biome
5. use a bone to tame a wolf. Note that it behaves normally. (Query whether your guest can see your wolves - sometimes your tamed wolves are invisible to guests, but that is a separate issue for another day.)
6. have a guest use a bone to tame a wolf. Note the aberrant behaviour - it sits down and no-one has a command button to tell it to stand.
